This was an exploration in mold-making. I used a large vaccum-forming machine to create a single part out of PLA plastic. This part could then be drawn two more times over the same mould. Together, the three identical parts connect to form a new, larger mould. Cement can then be poured into the assem- bled PLA mould to create a small stool. The texture was inspired by the leftover patterns in industrial concrete, created by the remainder of wood grain during the pouring of forms.
